Are you in the health, fitness, nutrition industry? We are accepting guests posts for IowaNutrition.com.
First and foremost, we are looking for great content (not good content).
We are looking for quality content that will be beneficial to our readers. Mediocre written articles, spammy links, posts that are off topic and/or only trying to sell your product/service will not be accepted.
People come to IowaNutrition.com to learn, grow, and become better. As a guest author you become part of our community. We take that seriously.
We reserve the right to accept or decline guest posts.
Guests posts should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. Read the guidelines below before you submit your guest post.
Guest Post Guidelines
Your guest post needs to be in english. It must be legible. If your guest post is full of spelling and/or grammar errors your post will not be published. If the post is not clear what the main point is, it will not be published.
2. Contact Us Yourself
Do not have your secretary, administrative assistant, virtual assistant or whomever else contact us. If you want to be published on our website, please contact us yourself.
3. Target Audience
Our readers are from Iowa. This website is specifically about health, fitness, and nutrition. Anything outside of that will not be accepted.
4. Experts Only
You should be the expert of the subject matter. Anyone may submit a post to be published; regular readers of the blog, gym owners, dietitians, trainers, doctors, and anyone who can provide expertise and value to residents of Iowa concerning their health, fitness, and nutrition. We are looking for someone that can provide in-depth articles. Not someone who did a quick Google search. If we publish your post, you will be given credit with a link to your website. If your main objective is just to get backlinks, please don’t waste our time.
5. How to Submit Your Post
Please send your post in a Word or Google Doc. Anything else will not be accepted. You may send your post to email@example.com. Do not send us an email asking what you should write about.
6. Author Bio
Please include a short bio about yourself. You may include one link to your website and a link to one social media platform.
7. Length and Format
Quality over quantity. We are looking for unique, detailed blog posts with your unique perspective. Your post should be a minimum of 1,000 words. Focus on the quality of your content. Be different. Provide value to the audience.
8. Previously Published Articles
Please do not send us an article you have published elsewhere. Or an article you plan to submit somewhere else in the future. When submitting a guest post you are giving us the copyright to the work. Google does not like articles published in multiple places. This negatively impacts search engine rankings. You may publish an excerpt of your post and include a link. Do not republish a large piece of the article elsewhere.
9. Final Draft Only
We will only accept your final draft. Do not send us a rough draft of your blog post.
Your post may not be published right away. Please keep your post as evergreen as possible (i.e. not specific to a date or timeframe).
Do not plagiarize. Do not. If you do quote someone else, give them credit in your post.
